Mama and Papa adopted my mother when she was 5 years old. When I was a little girl, I sat on Mama's lap at her old Singer sewing machine. She always had a drawer full of buttons and also a bowl full. Her sewing machine now sits in our kitchen and I keep one of her old glass bowls in my china cabinet filled with buttons!
Thank you so much for participating in our project Faymen! We love what you chose!!! John and I swam with stingrays in the Caymen Islands a few years ago and we are happy to have them on our quilt!
This pink pattern just caught my eye! I love this one and could not pass it up!!! This fabric reminds me of my mama's duster that she wore on so many cold evenings. The picture doesn't really do it justice.
For those unfamiliar with blogging, here is a tip to help you find the photo of your quilt square! Next to the name of the month (just below "Blog Archive"), you'll see a tiny black triangle. It will be pointing toward the name of the month. You can left click on that triangle making it drop down all of the names I added that month! When you find your name, left click on it and you'll see your fabric! Thanks to everyone for helping with this fun project!!!
